The Studio

From idea to a working app.

Our Prototype Sprint turns an idea into something real people can use: a working app on their phones, not a slide deck or a clickable mockup. Then, if it's worth building, we take it to launch.

The Prototype Sprint

What you get

  • A working app on real devices: an iPhone and Android test build, or a live web link.
  • The one or two core flows that prove the idea, with real data where it matters.
  • A short written readout: what worked, what didn't, and what we'd build next, with an estimate.

What we need from you

  • The problem and who has it, in your own words.
  • Someone who can make decisions, for two short check-ins a week.
  • Access to any data, accounts or brand assets the prototype needs.

How a sprint runs

  1. 1

    Scope call

We find the one problem worth solving first and agree what 'working' means.

  2. 2

    The core flow

A first working build in your hands.

  3. 3

    Real data and polish

We tighten it with your feedback until it's ready to put in front of users.

  4. 4

    Readout

A demo, the code and the written next steps.

After the sprint

Build it.

We take the prototype to launch quality in short cycles, with a working build every week, through App Store and Google Play submission.

Hand it off.

Your team takes the code, with documentation and a walkthrough.

Stop here.

Sometimes the most useful result is learning an idea isn't worth building. That's a good outcome too, and it's cheaper now than later.

What we can prototype

  • Mobile apps: iOS and Android from one codebase (React Native and Expo).

  • Web apps and dashboards.

  • Backends and APIs: Node.js and TypeScript on Postgres and Supabase, with sign-in and payments.

  • AI features: data from photos and documents, assistants and content pipelines, with checks so the output can be trusted.

  • Offline-first and privacy-first apps that keep data on the device.

  • Internal tools that replace a spreadsheet someone fights with every week.

Why it's fast

Tight scope.

We build the one thing that answers your question, and nothing else.

Proven building blocks.

A production stack we know well, so week one goes into your idea, not setup.

Automated everything.

Tests, builds and test-device releases run on every change, so you get new builds often and they work.

Examiner

A reusable exam-prep engine. One app framework plus a content pipeline that turns public regulations and handbooks into reviewed, cited question banks. A new exam is a content run, not a new app.

Blind Taste

A wine-tasting trainer backed by a reasoning engine over a hand-built reference dataset. Every fact carries its source, and the engine says when it doesn't know rather than guessing.

Questions

Is a prototype production-ready?

It's built on the same stack we'd use for production, so the good parts carry forward. It's scoped for learning, not scale; hardening it is part of the build phase.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes.

I don't have designs. Is that a problem?

No. We design the screens as part of the sprint, or work from yours.

Have an idea you want to see working?

Email a few lines: the problem, who it's for, what exists today, and any deadline. We'll reply within two business days.
